I am looking to raise the level of my yard to install an in ground pool. The base of the wall will be approximately just below the base of the pool wall and will rise just below the top edge of the pool wall, approximately 42 inches tall. The distance from the pool wall to the back side of the retaining wall will be approximately 2’6″. My question is, Is the alpha wall or omega wall strong enough to hold back the pressure of a pool?

Alpha blocks DO NOT come with corners blocks. The Alpha is a "solid" block with no holes or cavities in the bottom, so you can take a block splitter and split the block in half to make your corner or you can use a hammer and brick chisel to easily split the block as well.

I was wondering if the alpha block has corner blocks. I have three feet to work with, am I going to have to do my corners by making cuts?

Omega wall is a single sided wall but can do a vertical with a slight modification to the tabs. if you want to do a double sided wall ontop of your retaining wall all you need to do is place the wall blocks back to back and build height to taste.

I have an area that needs just a 2 ft retaining wall but above that ht I want to make an additional 1.5 ft ht free standing wall that would be visual on both sides. Is there a way I can do this with your system?

Sorry but the Alpha block is a retaining wall block only and is one sided meaning the block has only one side with a finished surface. What you are looking for is a “double faced”wall that does not have a set back.

I believe the smallest radius diameter with out cutting the block is 4′
